Job Role : Senior International Finance & Accounts Executive Senior International Finance & Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing the financial operations of multiple international subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with global accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves preparing financial statements, handling export documentation, managing inventory valuation, and overseeing tax compliance, including transfer pricing, VAT, and FEMA regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international finance, accounting, and cross-border financial management. Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting for International Subsidiaries:
- Oversee the preparation, audit, and filing of financial statements for multiple international subsidiaries. This includes managing relationships with external vendors and auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Preparation of Monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) and Financial Statements:
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring the consolidation of financial data across all subsidiaries. Prepare comprehensive financial reports that provide insights into the company's performance, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Handling and Documentation of Exports:
- Manage all export-related financial documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. This includes overseeing invoicing, shipping documents, and ensuring accurate recording of export transactions.
- Inventory Tracking and Valuation:
- Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems to track stock levels, movements, and valuations. Ensure that inventory accounting aligns with international financial reporting standards.
- Compliance with International Regulatory Requirements:
- Transfer Pricing: Develop and maintain transfer pricing policies that adhere to the arm's length principle, ensuring that intercompany transactions are priced fairly and comply with global tax regulations.
- Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA): Ensure all foreign exchange transactions comply with FEMA regulations, including accurate recording and reporting of cross-border transactions.
- Value Added Tax (VAT): Oversee the timely filing of VAT returns and ensure compliance with VAT regulations in all operating jurisdictions. This includes staying updated on changes in VAT laws and implementing necessary adjustments to accounting practices.
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is essential. Professional certifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are highly desirable.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in accounting. Experience in the consumer healthcare sector and familiarity with D2C business models are advantageous.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of international financial reporting standards (IFRS), transfer pricing methodologies, FEMA regulations, and VAT compliance. Proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is required.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with international stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to financial reporting and compliance, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
