German Linguist and Localization Specialist

Position: German Linguist and Localization Specialist Location: Dublin City South Days & Hours of Work: Mon-Fri with flexible start & finish times. Responsibilities of the Role:

• Translating content from English to German
• Verifying linguistic text to ensure it is correct and localized.
• Ensuring the correct implementation of the verified content, language, and text.
• Ensuring cultural acceptability and checking politically sensitive content.
• Meeting quality standards.
• Communicating and working with both internal & external stakeholders.
• Generating reports and analyzing such reports.
• Checking bugs within products and running test cases.
• Developing a deep knowledge of various video games, their mechanics, and debug menus.
• Working on ad hoc projects within translations across all platforms.
• Delivering excellent quality service and ensuring all correspondence is dealt with in a timely manner in accordance with targets.
• Committing to learn and develop extensive product knowledge.
• Assisting in-house teams with their administration and caseload as required.
• Multitasking on daily workload and ensuring follow-up on individual caseload.
• Providing excellent customer service to ensure retention of clients and customer satisfaction.

Requirements for this Role:

• Degree qualified in translation/linguistics preferred.
• 1 year of experience as a translator from English to German.
• Strong administration skills.
• Ability to work with a large team in a fast-paced environment.
