Industrial Engineer

Lead Group Ireland are currently seeking an Industrial Engineer for a site-based role in Cork. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the Medical Device industry, focusing on process improvements, lean initiatives, and workflow optimization. The ideal candidate will have experience in either the medical device industry or as an Industrial/Lean Engineer. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and drive lean initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Collect and analyze data to identify areas for process improvements.
• Conduct optimization studies to streamline operations and reduce waste.
• Improve workflow processes to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Perform Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) analysis to maximize equipment utilization.
• Lead and support continuous improvement projects across manufacturing and operational teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices.

• Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related discipline).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the medical device industry or as an Industrial/Lean Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
• Experience in data collection, analysis, and process improvement.
• Familiarity with OEE metrics and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
