About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead and manage all aspects of water sports operations. The Manager, Water Sports, will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, safety, and efficiency across water sports activities. This role will involve overseeing the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of water sports programs, managing a team of professionals, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maximizing guest satisfaction while driving operational success. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the daily operations of various water sports activities, including jet skiing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, kayaking, parasailing, diving, and other aquatic adventures.
Develop and implement operational plans and schedules to ensure seamless, safe, and enjoyable experiences for all guests.
Oversee the maintenance and safety of water sports equipment, ensuring proper storage, inspections, and timely repairs.
Train, manage, and motivate a team of instructors, guides, and support staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and high customer service standards.
Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines across all activities.
Manage and monitor budgets for water sports operations, including equipment procurement, maintenance, and labor costs.
Track guest feedback, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement to enhance the overall guest experience.
Develop and promote water sports programs and packages that align with market trends and customer preferences.
Ensure that all activities are executed with the highest regard for guest safety and environmental stewardship.
Collaborate with other departments, such as guest services, marketing, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Regularly assess operational performance and formulate strategies for ongoing enhancement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Hospitality, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing water sports operations, outdoor recreation, or a similar field.
Relevant certifications in water sports activities (e.g., PADI, NAUI, RYA, lifeguard training).
First Aid, CPR, and water rescue certification.
Proven expertise in staff management, training, and development.

Required Skills:

Strong leadership, team management, and motivational abilities.
Comprehensive knowledge of water sports, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in budgeting, inventory management, and operational planning.
Exceptional communication and customer service capabilities.
Ability to work efficiently in an outdoor environment and respond effectively in emergency situations.
A passion for water sports and a dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
