They currently operate in China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. This role is based in India . Sector The building sector of the company comprises of projects running across India at various cities and having strength of 600+ staff and 8000+ labour resource strength which includes HO based project support and management employees. Purpose of Role To successfully manage, plan and direct all Business unit building projects ensuring their profitability, timely and cost effective completion while providing a place of work that is safe and free from risk to health, and ensuring quality of work and healthy client relations WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF preserving the company image and securing further work. Key Accountabilities To identify appropriate resources (people, equipment, procedure and processes) IN ORDER TO provide the facility to implement the works:

  • Oversee the establishment, monitoring and updating of all project plans, budgets, programmes and resource requirements.
  • Contribute to the Business unit tendering procedures and conditions, structuring of contract packages and appointment, administration and payment of all subcontractor and suppliers.
  • Review monthly reports prior to discussing with the executive forums.
  • Fill key management positions.
  • Ensure that the projects are focused on Contractual matters and work closely with commercial and contract teams to ensure suitable records and correspondence is maintained.
To establish and maintain the physical environment for HSSEC (Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Community) IN ORDER TO meet specific group policies:
  • Responsible for the project quality, safety, and environmental requirements and to act in accordance with company policies in these areas.
  • Lead by example ensuring that all projects are fully compliant.
  • Encourage and develop a safety culture on projects that align with the company's.
To manage relationships with clients and other key stakeholders IN ORDER TO foster a positive image and potential repeat business:
  • As the primary point of interaction with the Client, ensure the portrayal of the company’s image is to the company advantage at all times.
  • Identify, report and update the Contract changes and modifications to the relevant parties, ensuring that all relevant notifications to the Client are delivered in the current form and within the necessary time frame.
  • Support the project teams in high level discussions with the project Clients and representatives.
To manage the implementation of the works IN ORDER TO meet the budgetary and time expectations of the joint venture:
  • Provide active supervision and technical support for assisting personnel.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Company systems.
  • Negotiate favourable terms that will allow for the company to share client gains for early delivery of the project.
  • Cover all contractual bases in conjunction with the Senior Project teams.
  • Ensure any applications for Extensions of time are made and fully substantiated.
To foster an environment that provides opportunities and enables development, progression and succession internally, and have an understanding of external (competitors) IN ORDER TO provide sustainability of the human resource assets in the company:
  • Coordination of all project support and development of project staff.
  • Promote good morale, team spirit, industrial relations and enforce discipline where necessary.
  • Monitor, coordinate support and develop the performance of all project staff.
Qualifications Degree in Engineering Experience 25 years of experience, 15 years in management of projects Compensation $20k per month (net)#J-18808-Ljbffr
