Primary Purpose of the Role: The Organizational Effectiveness Manager is responsible for leading the review and redesign of divisional and functional operating models, organizational structures, functional accountabilities, and role designs. The role ensures that future-state models, functions, and roles align with organizational design principles, strategic objectives, and relevant standards. The role demands deep expertise in operating model design, incorporating innovative external perspectives to address organizational challenges and align the people strategy across the Group. The role holder will lead complex operating model transformations, workforce strategies, and key organizational changes across divisions to support the achievement of EDGE Group’s strategic objectives, while also contributing to high-impact organization effectiveness initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Organizational Accountability Development:

  • Develop and map functional accountabilities for divisions, departments, and units in both current and future-state scenarios.
  • Ensure accountability changes are aligned with organizational objectives.
Organizational Design and Structure:
  • Design organizational structures and propose options aligned with operating model principles and key parameters.
  • Oversee the creation of detailed organizational charts, ensuring alignment with workforce data and highlighting changes.
Operating Model Expertise:
  • Leverage external insights, research, and best practices to inform and guide operating model and organizational design activities.
Due Diligence and Integration:
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence during mergers and acquisitions to ensure seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals.
Standardization and Governance:
  • Drive consistency across divisions in organization and role design approaches.
  • Provide governance over role descriptions, job evaluations, and alignment with job families, ensuring adherence to organizational standards.
Efficiency and Productivity:
  • Perform productivity improvement studies to establish efficiency benchmarks and propose improvement strategies.
Strategic Workforce Planning:
  • Develop and implement strategic workforce plans at both the entity and Group levels, addressing future workforce requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and enabling functions to ensure organizational solutions are fit-for-purpose and aligned with strategic priorities.
Change Leadership:
  • Lead key organizational transformations and workforce changes, ensuring alignment with the Group’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications and Experience: Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in organizational development, restructuring, or related areas.
  • Proven expertise in operating model design, organizational design, and strategic workforce planning.
  • Experience in M&A due diligence and integration.
  • Significant exposure to transformational change initiatives in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong background in consulting with senior business leaders on strategic organizational challenges, preferably in a professional services or management consulting setting.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to conduct productivity studies and establish efficiency benchmarks.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise, with the ability to manage complex projects to successful outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Strategic and innovative problem-solving abilities to address complex organizational challenges.
