Overall Purpose of Role: To study and document all or part of a business functions and processes. Design and document Target processes and systems, reducing their costs, enhancing their sustainability, and the quantification of potential business benefits. Primary Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountabilities:

The methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes, the information used and the data on which the information is based.
The definition of requirements for improving processes and systems, reducing their costs, enhancing their sustainability, and the quantification of potential business benefits.
The creation of viable specifications and acceptance criteria in preparation for the construction of information and communication systems.
Investigates operational requirements, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes.
Assists in the analysis of stakeholder objectives and identifies options for consideration.
Identifies potential benefits and available options for consideration.
Works with clients/users in defining acceptance tests.
Works under general direction within a clear framework of accountability.
Exercises substantial personal responsibility and autonomy.
Plans own work to meet given objectives and processes.
Influences team and specialist peers internally.
Influences customers at account level and suppliers.
Participates in external activities related to own specialism.
Makes decisions which influence the success of projects and team objectives.
Performs a broad range of complex technical or professional work activities, in a variety of contexts.
Investigates, defines and resolves complex problems.
Selects appropriately from applicable standards, methods, tools and applications.
Demonstrates an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.
Communicates fluently orally and in writing, and can present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Facilitates collaboration between stakeholders who share common objectives.
Plans, schedules and monitors work to meet time and quality targets and in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures.
Maintains awareness of modelling techniques covering full range of analysis situations in the context of business analysis.
Conducts system study sessions with the Business according to the dates agreed in the project plan.
Gains agreement from subject matter experts to models produced.
Walkthroughs of the existing system and Reviews models with stakeholders and gains resolution to resultant issues.
Works with colleagues and clients/users to investigate and document business functions, processes, and information flows and data structures.
Obtains sign off on business process document from the Business.
Records work with appropriate documentation, meeting the required standards and uses suitable methods and tools.
Arranges, prepares and facilitates client/users meetings and presents issues and solutions both orally and in writing.
Assists clients/users in producing clearly defined acceptance tests for automated systems.

Key Performance Indicator:

Maintain and observe the HSES policies and procedures.
Closure and stabilization of all new projects on time and within budget.
Ensure System Architecture meets the quality and applicable best practices.
Manage the Change Management and Release process according to the policies in place.
Continuous User development through trainings and coaching across the organization.
Provision of effective user support as per agreed service levels with the department.
Ensure necessary documentation is prepared and updated on timely basis for all applications.

Qualifications:

Post Graduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering and/or Business Administration or professional qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA).
PRINCE2 Foundation (preferred).
ITIL v3 Foundation (preferred).
Oracle Certification (desirable).
