Offset Printing Machine Operator 5 Color
- Set up and operate 5 color offset printing machines, ensuring optimal functionality and print quality for various projects.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Monitor ink levels, adjust color settings, and perform color matching to achieve precise color reproduction on printed materials.
- Review job orders and specifications to determine production requirements and materials needed for each print run.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and production teams to optimize print layouts and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including materials used and job completion times for reporting purposes.
- Train and mentor junior operators in machine operation and best practices in offset printing.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in the printing process.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new printing technologies to enhance skills and improve efficiency in operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical education in printing technology is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating offset printing machines, specifically 5 color models.
- Proven expertise in color management and ink formulation, with a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with print production software and digital workflows to streamline the printing process.
- Certifications in printing technology or machinery operation will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and clients.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to operate heavy machinery and perform repetitive tasks.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages as a bonus for diverse team interactions.
