Programmer Society for Applied Studies (SAS), a Delhi based not-for- profit research organization invites applications from Data Managers and Programmers to provide data management support in designing and developing data management systems for research studies (trials, cohorts, lab-based studies). The position is advertised as part of the RespInd-Net project (cohort study) which aims to understand viral causes of acute respiratory infections. Designation : Data Manager/Programmer Place of work : The position is based at our office in South Delhi. Essential Qualifications : - B.Tech/ B.E/BCA or related fields in computer science, data management, statistics. - Minimum 2 years of experience in application development. - Candidates with experience in managing databases and in data capture platforms based on ODK or related platforms will be considered irrespective of primary qualifying degree. Salary : Commensurate with experience Job Description: - Designing and development of data management systems for research studies - Create forms for electronic data capture for the study (coding, logics, data checks, create dashboards and trackers for research units to use etc.)- Troubleshooting in databases, forms and data collection systems - To manage databases including identify errors, raise queries, edit entries appropriately, maintain backups. - To liaison with other sites across India on database issues and providing training. - To attend study meetings, make presentations and create infographics. Desirable requirements : - Proficiency in designing and managing digital data collection tools using ODK platform such as Kobo Collect, Survey CTO and RedCap. - Experience in use of STATA and/or R. - Experience in managing teams.
