Overview of the role: We are seeking a skilled Marine Repair Technician to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the latest technical advancements in marine equipment and be committed to delivering high-quality repairs, ensuring that each issue is resolved correctly the first time. What you will do:

1. Work independently with minimal direction.
2. Share knowledge with peers and guide team members to excellence.
3. Carry out service and checks during service for trouble-free operation and recommend any additional jobs to be performed.
4. Perform tasks such as service, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of mechanical and electric components.
5. Extend technical knowledge and skills to cover new products and other systems and functions.
6. Maintain a level of communication by ensuring that the work needed is effectively communicated to the Foreman, Service Advisor, or Service Manager.
7. Use tools and adopt best practices as mentioned in service manuals, SOW, and Wiring diagrams to avoid rework.

Required skills to be successful:

1. Technical education and/or apprenticeship.
2. Technician Diploma in Marine or Automobile Engineering.
3. Proven technical expertise in independently servicing, repairs, and troubleshooting.
4. At least 5-10 years of experience in marine engines.
5. Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
6. UAE driving license is an advantage.
