Merchandiser - Home Textiles Exports

Job Profile: Order Management: · Liason with Buyer for orders placed End to end responsibility for order execution in coordination with factory · Order entry and creation of sale order · TNA and Production Planning with Factory , Planning with raw material supplier with daily review and monitoring to ensure timely execution of order . Material planning with supplier, negotiating best price · Periodic visit to Factory to ensure order security and improvements · Releasing Purchase order to material and trim suppliers and following up for timely inward · Securing product and material quality , testing in coordination with Quality Department · Updating customer timely on order status and liaisoning with customer / Buying office in India · Reviewing the order status with Production team to ensure on track and take adequate measures to cover any possible deviations · Container booking , Vessel scheduling and raising final invoice and packing list · Reports generation and analysis. New Business: · Costing and Quotation against RFQ’s · Making marketing presentations and approaching existing and new customers · Involve in New Product Developments Educational Requirements: · Degree in Textiles is must · Must be well versed in Microsoft Excel , Power Point and Word. Should be computer savy. · Experience to work through systems , ERP . · Fluency in English Other Skills: · Good Interpersonal skills and communication · Should be proactive and able to drive inter department activities to common goal · Should be good in conflict resolution and problem solving · Self-driven with strong sense of responsibility and accountability · Should be systematic and structured at work and keen to follow system and processes defined. · Strong ability to make things happen on time securing quality and price.
