A. POSITION PURPOSE The Group Senior Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations related to acquisitions and consolidation processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and seamless integration of new acquisitions into the company’s financial structure. This role requires expertise in financial analysis, accounting policies, taxation, and project management, with a focus on contributing to the company’s growth and stability. B. REPORTING STRUCTURE / HIERARCHY Group Senior Manager Finance reports to Deputy Group CFO. C. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  1. Acquisition Integration: Plan and execute the integration of acquisitions, ensuring smooth transitions and effective financial management.
  2. Accounting Systems & Reporting: Understand the accounting policies, general ledger (GL) structure, accounting systems, trial balances, and the preparation of financial statements for acquired companies.
  3. Consolidated Financial Statements: Collaborate with the AAFS regulatory team to ensure proper preparation and accuracy of consolidated financial statements for the organization.
  4. Taxation Compliance: Possess a strong understanding of UAE Taxation laws, including Corporate Income Tax and VAT, and consider the implications of consolidation on tax reporting.
  5. Management Reporting: Work closely with the AAFS management reporting team to develop and implement an effective Management Information System (MIS) reporting structure for consolidation purposes.
  6. Funding Support: Support the AAFS Banking team in raising funds to facilitate acquisitions and ensure that financial transactions are managed effectively.

E. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory for this role. F. YEARS OF EXPERIENCE Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in Financial aspects. G. CORE COMPETENCIES
  1. Financial Planning & Analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data and assist in making informed strategic decisions.
  2. Acquisition & Integration: Expertise in integrating acquisitions, understanding the complexities of consolidating financials across multiple entities.
  3. Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS) and the UAE taxation system, especially in corporate income tax and VAT.
  4. Financial Reporting: Strong experience in preparing consolidated financial statements, monthly financial reports, and financial forecasting.
  5. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and ensure timely delivery of financial projects and reports.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, regulatory bodies, and external partners.
H. SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  1. IFRS Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in applying IFRS standards for financial reporting.
  2. Auditor Relations: Experience in managing and working with external auditors, including the Big 4 audit firms, to ensure compliance and accuracy in audits.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in managing stakeholders at all levels and facilitating effective collaboration between departments.
  5. Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for details in financial data and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial operations.
  6. Project Planning & Execution: Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering outcomes on time, within scope, and within budget.
  7. Exchange Business Experience: Candidates with prior experience in exchange business are preferred. However, candidates with experience within exchange houses in UAE will only be considered if they are able to provide an NOC prior to the interview.
