SILA Administrative Assistant/Receptionist (Volunteer) SIL Australia (SILA) is looking for a volunteer administrative assistant/receptionist at their campus in Kangaroo Ground, Victoria.As a close partner with Wycliffe Bible Translators Australia, SILA prepares people for work in language development and Bible translationwith organisations such as SIL International.Inspired by God’s love, SIL’s desire is to see communities around the world flourishing in the languages they value the most.The right person in this role will contribute to the smooth running of the administrative side of the training program and provide support to the leadership team and student body. On-the-job training will be provided and hours are flexible.

Responsibilities:

• be the first point of contact for students and visitors • friendly and professional communication via phone and email • photocopying and scanning • drafting documents and file management using Microsoft Office • maintaining databases • calendar and deadline management – including scheduling meetings • anticipating needs and keeping the office running smoothly – including reordering supplies

Qualifications:

• experience as a receptionist and / or with office experience • team worker • friendly, welcoming manner
