Position: Design Engineer - Electrical & Instrumentation Job Location: Mumbai Education:- BE/B Tech/Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation Experience:- 5+ years in water sector
- Job Responsibility:
- A good working knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation cum Automation system associated with Clean water/Wastewater projects.
- Strong functional knowledge in System Study (Short circuit, Load Flow, Motor Start-up, Transient stability, Arc Flash, Insulation co-ordination etc).
- Should have hands on experience in Relay co-ordination and settings.
- Proficiency in softwares like ETAP, DiaLux, Autogrid, Autocad.
- Should have E&I system commissioning experience.
- Preparation of Electrical BOQ based on optimum design.
- Preparation of I/O list, Instrumentation schedule, Cable schedule, Hookup diagram for Instrumentation system.
- Design and costing of all E&I equipment like Transformers, Diesel Generators, HT/LT switchgear, Battery system, Cables, Automation system which are used in WTP/STP projects during bid stage.
- Continuous contact with vendors to get optimized commercial offers from them.
- Site visit to project location before Pre-bid meeting to know about Geographical condition, challenging work patch, any work execution challenges, etc.
- Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Electrical engineering.
- Typically, have a minimum of 4-6 years related work experience.
- Electrical equipment design and Instrumentation cum Automation system design.
- A good working knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation cum Automation system associated with Clean water/Wastewater projects.
- Familiar with Indian (IS) and International Standards (IEC,IEEE)
- Well versed with Short circuit calculation and Fault analysis.
- Well versed with softwares like ETAP, DiaLux, Autogrid & Autocad.
- Have excellent data manipulation abilities (MS Excel)
