Senior .Net Engineer

The Full-Stack Software Engineer will play a key role in creating and enhancing custom tools and systems to improve business operations. This involves collaborating with both internal and external teams to understand user needs and deliver tailored IT solutions. The engineer will be responsible for developing new software, maintaining and optimizing existing applications, and consistently reviewing and suggesting improvements to current systems. Working closely with various stakeholders, the role ensures alignment with business objectives while contributing to continuous process improvements. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a full-stack development role, with a strong focus on C# (.NET), SQL Server, and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework. Proficiency in designing and developing user interfaces with a focus on UX/usability. Experience with WPF is a plus. Strong background in Microservice Architecture and Message Queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), along with Web API development and understanding of API gateway technologies. Solid experience working with SQL Server and managing large datasets, as well as familiarity with PowerBI for reporting and data visualization. Experience working in cloud environments, particularly Azure, as well as an understanding of containerization and orchestration tools. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies with the ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced enterprise environment. Leadership skills to motivate and guide a team, while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality solutions and improving development processes. Desirable Skills: Experience in the financial services or insurance/reinsurance sectors is highly beneficial. Familiarity with NoSQL databases, cloud migrations, and SOX compliance is a plus. Knowledge of machine learning and security infrastructure within the insurance domain would be advantageous. You should demonstrate strong leadership and communication abilities, working collaboratively across teams to deliver impactful solutions while maintaining a focus on innovation and long-term technical effectiveness.
