Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide personalized coordinated care and support for patients and families.
Treat people with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Implement all options to meet the individual’s health needs through communications and available resources to provide the right healthcare, at the right time, in the right setting, and utilizing the right amount of services to ensure the best outcomes.
Issue In-Patient Billing ensuring accuracy in a timely manner.
Major role is to do Admissions and Discharges on a daily basis using all available resources to provide the right suggestion and proposal to facilitate accurate cost estimates.
Gather data for the study of TAT for both processes.
Direct Porters to submit all bills for auditing on a daily basis.
Participate in Performance Improvement activities QI/PI and establish measurement indicators.
Consider all issues relating to the In-patient billing department that may cause delays affecting the Discharge process and customers’ invoices.
Maintain close communication with the Approval Center and ER to ensure that admission and discharge are in accordance with ASH Policies & Procedures.
Report all patient complaints to increase patient satisfaction levels.
Ensure confidentiality of all patient records and derived data.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience.
Good knowledge of oral and written communication.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS:

Computer literate.
Good in oral and written English language.
Good communication skills.

COMPETENCE:

Integrity.
Ability to delegate.

REQUIRED ATTITUDE TO PERFORM THE JOB:

Proper, effective, and compassionate communication.
