This is a newly created role for a well-known brand are looking for someone to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the group’s financial reporting, drive compliance, efficiency, and financial excellence across the business while supporting strategic decision-making. Offering a salary of £60,000, this role offers an excellent career pathway to become part of a business who is expecting to double in size over the next few years. As a Group Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP financial reporting standards.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support key business decisions.
- Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, sales tax, and regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with subsidiaries and business units to align financial policies.
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a group accounting role.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP .
- Demonstrated expertise in financial consolidation and reporting .
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative finance team.
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills .
- Salary of £55,000 - £60,000
