Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Department - Project Management Services at Shubham Tanks And Liners Pvt Ltd located in Thane. The person will be responsible for overseeing the installation projects for all the liquid storage solutions provided by STLPL across the Indian subcontinent. Join us and lead a team dedicated to delivering excellence in tank installation services, making a tangible impact on the industrial and commercial landscape! Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Tank Installation Services Department with independent charge for Pan India and International Markets.
- Coordinate and manage dispatch scheduling with the manufacturing department, delivery planning with logistics team, and site facilitation for multiple ongoing site activities.
- Systems driven planning of projects and management of resources, including addition of skilled technicians, to meet medium and long-term workload demands.
- Provide feedback to the Sales Head on estimated costing, budget versus actuals, and optimise bidding costs.
- Present P&L reports during Management’s Monthly Reviews, focusing on improving profitability relative to budgeted costs. The department will be monitored and reviewed as a profit centre.
- Develop strategic plans considering increased business volume and demand for skilled technicians and site supervisors.
- Enhance operational team skills in areas such as technical expertise, planning, resource management, communication, and customer management.
- Upgrade the profile of the team through training needs identification, improved documentation, and certification/licensing of skilled technicians.
- This role requires a mix of office work and field/site visits. The candidate must be willing to travel frequently to project sites and customer locations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Post-graduate certification in projects management preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in tank installation services, construction management or heavy equipment installation services.
- 5+ years of top leadership experience leading large teams and complex projects.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in systems driven project management tools (ERP) and methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
