We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at the Saxo Bank Representative Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing local quality AML, KYC and CDD standards, conducting tests to ensure adherence to these standards, identifying issues in Saxo Bank's ONB (Onboarding) and ODD (Ongoing Due Diligence) processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to create policies and processes aimed at achieving a zero-defect quality culture. Job Description

  1. Perform routine inspections and quality tests in line with AML policies and departmental procedures within set timeframes.
  2. Produce reports containing quality assurance results and associated metrics using established procedures.
  3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, business changes, and internal regulatory policy and procedural changes.
  4. Identify quality gaps and communicate these to appropriate management and business owners.
  5. Analyze gathered information to develop recommendations for policy and procedure improvements to ensure continued compliance with Saxo Bank's AML Policy and regulations.
  6. Act as a local ambassador between MENA, India, and Denmark, aligning local market practices with Danish regulations and expectations.
  7. Work closely with ONB, ODD, and Business to provide support and guidance in AML matters.
  8. Potentially meet clients and conduct site visits (local and international) as required for KYC/CDD purposes.
  9. Provide training, guidance, and support to MENA KYC Analysts and Quality Controllers in relation to day-to-day ONB and ODD operations, ensuring that all team members are well-versed in current AML policies, procedures, and best practices.
  10. Facilitate regular training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to enhance the MENA AML and Business proficiency and adherence to AML regulatory requirements.
  11. Act as a point of contact for any queries or issues related to ONB and ODD processes and work collaboratively to resolve any challenges that arise.
  12. Ensure that all team activities are conducted in compliance with Saxo Bank's AML Policy and applicable regulations.
  13. Assist in preparing and potentially participate in Client Acceptance Committees for high-risk accounts.
  14. Sign off on new accounts, ODD, and transactions within delegation limits from HQ.
  15. Provide comprehensive support to the Line Manager, including ad hoc tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient departmental operations.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in quality assurance or a similar role.
  2. Strong understanding of quality assurance standards and methodologies.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
