Your Opportunity: As a qualified Physiotherapist working across Residential Aged Care and Community, you will be joining a large and collaborative multidisciplinary team providing personalised treatments. You will be involved in a new innovative way of offering allied health services to our wonderful Clients. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- In the community, the consumers you will be seeing are referred through government funded models, including Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care, Commonwealth Home Support Programme, and Private funding. We are not your typical community provider; we set achievable billable KPIs (ask us more) and do not work within the NDIS.
- Provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendations to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to the needs of Plena and the aged care facilities, and work within the scope of the Occupational Therapy profession.
