Convera is a global leader in commercial payments that powers international business by moving money with ease. Role Overview: The Global Agent Partnership Manager will report directly to the Regional Director of Education APAC and will be based in Australia. The role will be responsible for business development, commercial oversight, and day-to-day management of agent-related activities. This will require centralized coordination efforts across product, marketing, legal, finance, customer care, and operations as necessary to prioritize Convera’s Student Recruitment Agent strategy. The role will be responsible for evolving the existing agent strategy and operational needs, bringing forward new strategic agent relationships, harvesting existing ones, and driving new revenue growth through increased agent utilization of Convera’s payment products. The role will engage with all areas of the Education vertical and global partnerships team for best practices. The role will model excellence through customer engagement, deep product and market knowledge, and serve as an escalation point for our Student Recruitment Agent partners. Responsibilities:
- Propel Convera’s education offering in the agent space. Be an expert in the agent landscape (e.g. competition, pricing, participants) and navigate business opportunities to meet our strategic goals.
- Lead the innovation of our value proposition for student recruitment agents. This will include collaborating with the global partnerships manager, product development, customer service, marketing, finance, operations, legal, and compliance.
- Contribute to and achieve the financial goals that relate to our Agent strategy with the main objective of growing the number of Student Recruitment Agents that utilize Convera's services via our Agent Partners.
- Enhance our brand visibility with the target audience.
- Align with Sales Operations on key metrics to measure the agent program and operationalize the reporting needs.
- Own the identification, planning, execution, and follow-up of Convera's attendance at key Student Recruitment Agent conferences. Furthermore, the ability to travel domestically and internationally to attend these events.
- Host meetings with internal and partner stakeholders to review sales plans and ensure that all parties are held accountable to execute upon the sales plan.
- Play a role in responding to Agent queries that fall outside of the typical cases that are managed by our customer care team. This may include identifying and rectifying the root cause of the query to improve the overall agent service offering.
- Ensure all partnership activities comply with financial regulations and standards. Stay updated on regulatory changes that could positively or negatively impact partnerships.
- Provide input for internal reporting that is shared with the executive leadership team.
- Keep up to date with the Student Recruitment Agent market by understanding trends, competitor activities, and obtaining the voice of the Agent via creative methods.
- Embrace new responsibilities that surface as this newly created role evolves.
- Essential – demonstrated experience working in the student recruitment sector.
- 5+ years in Sales, Partnership, or Account Management roles with a proven track record of achieving targets, with a bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field; Education, FinTech, or Treasury background preferred.
- A proven track record of achieving targets, identifying new sales opportunities/cross and upselling within existing accounts, delivering client solutions, and owning the voice of the customer.
- Experience in analyzing data and sales statistics to translate results into better sales.
- Strong interpersonal skills to lead and build positive relationships and influence at the Senior executive level both internally and across the customer base.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills across all media, as well as experience in leading sales and GTM technology (Salesforce.com experience an asset).

- Ability to travel throughout Australia for face-to-face client visits – ~10%-20% of your time.
