Senior Architecture Site Engineer

Job Description

• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force, supplied stone and all work related.
• Check plans, shop drawings, quantities and specifications for accuracy of calculations and project requirements.
• Oversee the selection, supply and installation of stone and ensure that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications.
• Prepare reports about variation orders, site instructions, Material Inspection Request (MIR), Contractor Inspection Request (CIR)… etc.
• Make cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
• Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project for the stone scope.
• Attend regular progress meetings and provide daily reports.
• Distribute manpower on site as required and plan the work in order to meet agreed deadlines.
• Monitor the safe storage and handling of stones on site.
• Oversee quality control and health and safety matters.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Prepare quantity survey for finished work and snag list.

Job Requirements

• Architecture Engineering background.
• Marble Installation Experience is a must.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
• AutoCAD and Adobe a plus.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well with a variety of people and personalities.
