Warehouse Manager

Job Description

• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment.
• Ensure efficient and organized warehouse layout to support construction project needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement systems to track materials accurately.

• Manage stock levels to ensure availability of materials for ongoing and upcoming construction projects.
• Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Minimize waste, loss, and damage through effective inventory management practices.

• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Optimize transportation and logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all warehouse operations.
• Implement and enforce safety policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain proper documentation and reporting for safety and compliance purposes.

• Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse processes and reduce costs.
• Implement new technologies or systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse workflows to meet business objectives.

Job Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in warehouse management, within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and supply chain processes.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
