Job Summary
- The Relationship Manager is primarily responsible for servicing and managing customer relationships under the Priority Banking program by engaging them, uncovering their needs and providing them with the appropriate products, services and solutions from the entire range of the Consumer Banking suite.
- The Relationship Manager is responsible to drive profitable revenue and volume growth from their portfolio with a focus on new acquisition, deepening of existing customer relationships and cross sell thereby improving market and customer share of wallet with the Bank.
- Service and manage customer relationships under the Priority Banking program.
- Drive profitable revenue and volume growth from their portfolio.
- Manage and anticipate client requirements.
- Build and sustain relationships with clients' circle of influence.
- Communicate with clients providing complete portfolio valuations and guidance.
- Serve as a problem-solver for clients, helping them identify investment criteria.
- Provide ongoing portfolio supervision.
- Retain existing high-value clients.
- Resolve client queries without further escalation.
- Convert service recovery to sales opportunities.
- Drive portfolio growth through existing to bank (ETB) and increased product per customer (PPC) ratio.
- Map client potential based on client profile.
- Offer a consistent customer experience.
- Gather competitive intelligence.
- Track market trends.
- Carry out suitability assessments of clients.
- Partner with product specialists for expert advice.
- Develop a culture that champions change among colleagues.
- Understand the risk and compliance requirements of the role.
- Partner with risk teams to ensure effective risk management.
- Ensure operational procedures and controls are in place.
- Ensure KYC compliance.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Comply with money laundering prevention procedures.
- Adhere to Principles & Policy of Treating Customers Fairly.
- Ensure client discussions are done over recorded lines.
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values.
- Take responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics.
- Collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk matters.

- Bachelor Degree
- CFA or FAP Certified
- 5+ years in client relationship management in banking.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player with good initiatives.
- Proven track record in business goal management.
- Sound knowledge of cross-border business.
- Superior knowledge of wealth management products.
- Strong analytical skills.
- A self-motivator keen on upgrading personal knowledge.
