Business Analyst, Data Migration (Banking Industry)

Responsibilities: Support the transition of data migration activities from other vendors and ensure alignment with the overall migration strategy. Refine data migration requirements, update migration strategy, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the migration are covered. Assess data quality issues, collaborate with business users to prioritize data quality analysis and address any concerns. Build and manage test cases, scenarios, test scripts, and define entry/exit criteria for successful data migration. Define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor the execution of the data migration process. Work closely with the Data Migration Lead to ensure adherence to timelines and project milestones while supporting the overall data migration strategy. Requirements: Min. Bachelor’s Degree in IT or any relevant field. Min. 3 years of IT Service Management (ITSM) experience, covering all phases of ITSM (e.g., ITIL). Min. 3 years of Business Analyst experience, including documentation and project management. Solid knowledge of ITIL or other ITSM frameworks. At least 3 years of working experience in banking/financial service. Possess strong business communication skills in English and Japanese languages (to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders and clients). Experience in financial industry and/or IT Service Management (ITSM) is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) for documentation and reporting. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients and internal teams. Team-friendly attitude with strong collaboration and client engagement abilities.
