You'll focus on the critical risk areas of AML, IT, and Finance/Credit risk, directly contributing to bunq’s vision and operational integrity. Here's how you'll make a difference:

• Enhance Risk Management: Provide expert oversight in Finance and Credit risk, ensuring that our strategies are robust and forward-thinking. Your insights will help shape how we assess and mitigate risks, safeguarding bunq’s innovative path.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Address specific regulatory concerns related to Finance and Credit risk, ensuring that bunq not only meets but exceeds compliance standards, positioning us as leaders in responsible banking.
• Improve Processes: Conduct detailed audits and offer actionable insights for refining Finance and Credit processes. Your work will drive efficiency, innovation, and reliability in our operations, supported by cutting-edge data analysis.
• Cover Critical Gaps: Ensure we have comprehensive coverage of all major risk areas, maintaining the high standards necessary for continuing bunq’s extraordinary growth trajectory.

• You have expertise in financial regulations: You deeply understand EU and Dutch financial regulations like CRD IV, CRR, Basel III/IV, MiFID II, and IFRS 9.
• You are technically proficient: You are skilled in using data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, SAS, and Python, with a solid grasp of financial systems and risk management frameworks.
• You are analytical and detail-oriented: You excel at evaluating complex data, developing audit strategies, and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• You have been doing this before: You been in internal auditing before and know the fintech industry.
• You are committed to growth: You are eager to engage in continuous learning and remain up-to-date with industry trends.
• You communicate effectively: You have excellent written and verbal English skills for clear reporting and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
