Senior Electrical Engineer (Medium Voltage)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer (Medium Voltage) to join our consultancy firm for the supervision of a prestigious high-rise hotel development in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia . The ideal candidate should have 10 to 15 years of experience in medium voltage (MV) systems , including power distribution, substations, transformers, switchgear, and backup power systems for hospitality and high-rise building projects . Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of medium voltage electrical systems .
- Conduct technical coordination between different disciplines (MEP, structural, and architectural teams) using BIM and Revit .
- Supervise site execution , ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and Saudi electrical codes.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical reports .
- Ensure seamless integration of MV systems with the overall electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
- Provide technical expertise to resolve design and execution challenges.
- Lead and manage site teams , ensuring smooth project execution and coordination with contractors.
- Prepare reports and documentation in English with a high level of clarity and professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in high-rise buildings and hospitality projects .
- Previous experience working in reputable consultancy firms .
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in BIM and Revit is mandatory .
- Experience in both site supervision and technical coordination .
- Strong understanding of international and Saudi electrical codes .
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and coordination skills.
