Senior HR Executive

• Provide HR support across all areas, from employee relations and compliance to performance management and engagement initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, guiding them on HR best practices.
• Assist with workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding processes.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
• Manage training programs, monitoring completion and addressing non-compliance.
• Support payroll processes as a backup function to the Finance team.
• Oversee general office administration, including compliance monitoring.

• Minimum of 2 years of HR experience with a strong foundation in HR operations.
• A proactive mindset, eager to take ownership and drive improvements.
• Strong knowledge of NZ employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with leadership and staff.
• Experience in the shipping or logistics industry is a plus but not required.
