Software Quality Assurance Engineer

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases considering functional, non-functional requirements.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Design, develop and execute manual and automation scripts.
• Participates in agile ceremonies taking into consideration product and process requirements during the development lifecycle.
• Follows defined engineering process during the development lifecycle.
• Proactively works with other team members as needed to resolve issues and meet project goals.
• Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation
• Supports, designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for QA processes for ongoing and new projects
• Continually research and experiment with different agile testing methods and tools to improve our process and the quality of our services

Education & Trainings + Certifications: (Basic & Professional) Software Engineering / Science graduate; preferred in computer science, electronics Strong Software testing background and experience Certified in SW testing tools and usage (not mandatory) Technical know how: (Mention the technology on which person must be experienced) Mandatory Proven work experience in software quality assurance Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium testing tool, PyCharm etc. Use of defect tracking tools similar to JIRA, TFS, ServiceNow, ALM Proficient in all forms of functional testing across all browsers and devices. Knowledge in non-functional testing like security, performance, PCI compliance. Proficient in SQL and able to test backend based functionalities. Good to know Agile, Scrum methodologies Python programming Language would be great Soft Skills: (Inputs on soft skills required for role, like team management, communication, customer management etc) Exposure in working with global MNCs for 3 to 5 years Good verbal and written communication skills Fluent in English speaking Open minded, flexible, and solution oriented way of working Experience in structured thinking, process definitions and project execution Able to handle pressure and work with self-starting attitude
