About Kimpton Riyadh Located in King Abdullah Financial District which is set in the heart of the Saudi capital, 22-kilometers away from the airport, Kimpton Riyadh is the first Kimpton in the Middle East bringing the brand’s playful energy, infectious personality, and unique design style to this LEED certified landmark development home to 1.6 million square meters of state-of-the-art office space, world-class venues and iconic luxury residences. The hotel welcomes guests to experience its 212 guest rooms and suites and to enjoy its unique dining options. As a Laundry Valet at an international luxury hotel, your daily activities would typically include:

• Guest Laundry Services :
  • Collecting laundry from guest rooms and delivering it to the laundry department.
  • Returning cleaned and pressed garments to guest rooms promptly.
• Laundry Processing :
  • Sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding guest laundry.
  • Ensuring that all items are cleaned to the highest standards.
• Uniform and Linen Care :
  • Assisting with the laundering of staff uniforms and hotel linens.
  • Inspecting items for damage or stains and arranging for repairs or special treatments.
• Inventory Management :
  • Keeping track of laundry supplies, such as detergents and fabric softeners.
  • Ordering supplies as needed and ensuring proper storage.
• Maintaining accurate records of guest laundry services, including charges and delivery times.
• Preparing reports for management on laundry operations.
• Guest Interaction :
  • Providing personalized service to guests, including handling special requests and preferences.
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
• Quality Control :
  • Inspecting laundered items to ensure they meet the hotel's high standards.
  • Addressing any issues or deficiencies immediately.
• Health and Safety Compliance :
  • Following health and safety guidelines for handling and cleaning laundry.
  • Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
• Working closely with the housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Communicating any issues or special requests to the appropriate team members.
• Staying updated on the latest laundry techniques and equipment.
• Implementing new methods and best practices to enhance service quality.

These responsibilities help ensure that guests receive impeccable laundry services, reflecting the luxury standards of the hotel. What we need from you Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree, higher education qualification or equivalent in Hotel Administration / Business Administration
• Two to Three years’ prior tenure in a similar role
• International luxury hotel chain background
• English Fluency is required
• Arabic Fluency is preferred
