Job Title: NICU Charge Nurse Location: Jeddah - KSA Career Level: Specialist Date Posted: 14 - 12 - 2022 Years of Experience: 1 Year Key Responsibilities:
- Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates nursing care of patients provided by their team in accordance with hospital and departmental policies with standards of professional nursing practice.
- Supervises nurses & nurse aides at all levels, supports services.
- Works in collaboration with heads of both clinical and administrative hospital departments, daily contacts with unit personnel, physician chiefs of service, other physicians, patients, family, and the Patients Relation Officer, problem-solving and planning of patient care.
- Maintains frequent contacts with medical administration services.
- Care of babies in incubators
- Administration of surfactant
- Admission to NICU
- Vital signs (Pulse, Temp, Resp., Blood pressure)
- Assists during neonatal endotracheal intubation
- Assists with umbilical catheter insertion and care
- Assists with neonatal lumbar puncture
- Capillary blood sampling
- Gastric tube insertion
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing with PRC license.
- Gender: Female.
- Experience: At least one year.
- Dataflow or Prometric are highly preferred.
- Both visa and iqama transfer are available.
