Head of Modern Trade
Our client is a leading player in the FMCG industry, specializing in the Food & Beverage sector. As they continue to expand their presence in Bahrain, we are seeking a seasoned Head of Modern Trade to spearhead their growth and solidify their market leadership. The Role:- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth in modern trade channels.
- Manage and expand relationships with Tier 1 modern trade accounts to maximize business opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, fostering a results-driven culture.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to refine sales strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to align sales initiatives with business goals.
- Negotiate and manage trading terms, ensuring profitability and brand visibility.
- Track sales performance and provide data-driven reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Oversee trade promotions, category management, and merchandising strategies to drive sales.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in handling Tier 1 modern trade accounts within the FMCG sector, specifically in Food & Beverage.
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to drive performance.
- Deep understanding of modern trade dynamics, customer behavior, and sales operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Data-driven mindset with expertise in leveraging analytics to optimize sales strategies.
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institute.
