Sales & Marketing Manager – Composite Panels & Facades - Based in Bahrain. Position Overview Experienced Sales Manager with experience in the construction sector to lead sales and marketing activities for the company’s product range across the GCC. Responsibilities will include:
- Overall responsibility for sales and marketing.
- Developing, maintaining, and managing client relationships.
- Identify, structure, and lead marketing initiatives.
- Generate sales leads and tender opportunities.
- Identify new product opportunities.
- Manage the tender process from inception to successful conclusion.
- Assist in setting business plan, goals, and objectives and take responsibility for their achievement in the region.
- Provide regional business and market analysis.
- Establish business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with the company's vision and strategy.
- Support the definition and execution of business plans to develop composite market and applications.
- Design daily activity plans and goals for all commercial processes in their segment or business unit to meet organizational objectives.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Maintain a forecast and targeting sales attainment plan.
- Manage all market data and sales pipeline activity in the company.
- Diversify and grow the revenue stream.
- Manage market and customer segmentation.
- Understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Meet or exceed the monthly, quarterly, and annual business segment goals related to target opportunities, revenue growth, and contribution margin growth.
- Ensure efficient business operations by optimizing processes and implementing best practices.
- Leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and competitiveness.
- Conduct competitive analysis and gather pricing information.
- Identify market opportunities and penetrate markets.
- Translate product offerings into value propositions for the composite market in collaboration with Marketing.
- Build and maintain a strong brand reputation through effective marketing and communication strategies.
- Actively explore new opportunities and take appropriate actions in collaboration with other functions to develop these into a profitable business.
- Visit customers and support global sales team to develop business opportunities; present solutions & improvement suggestions using our products to potential customers.
- Provide appropriate information on specific customer requirements, discuss possible solutions, and support action plans to generate results.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, research institutes, etc., within specific areas of expertise.
- Ensure the company remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients.
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Focus sales and technical talent on delivering innovative and profitable solutions to customers.
- Build the human resource plan for the business unit.
- Upgrade the skill set of the sales and field technical teams.
- Develop a pipeline of future leaders to ensure continuity and growth.
- Invest in the continuous learning and professional development of employees.
- Identify potential customers and develop new business & customer relations in the international composite market.
- Differentiating service to key customers and potential customers.
- Utilize all available resources appropriately to grow new business.
- Negotiate high-level contracts.
- Implement and promote sustainability practices to minimize environmental impact and enhance social responsibility.
- Engage with and contribute to the communities in which the company operates, enhancing its social footprint.
- Establish mechanisms for feedback from employees, customers, and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience : Proven experience in business development, market expansion, or sales leadership within the composite manufacturing or related industry.
- Skills:
- Strong business acumen and commercial skills.
- Fluency in multiple languages is preferred.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
