Qiddiya Investment Company is a leader in the development of unique entertainment and leisure destinations. We are currently seeking a talented Senior Manager Design (Landscape) to join our illustrious team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of landscape design for our projects, ensuring that our outdoor spaces are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and sustainable. Your vision and expertise will be crucial in creating vibrant landscapes that enhance the overall experience of our destination. Responsibilities
- Lead the landscape design process for various projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and company standards
- Develop innovative design concepts that integrate natural and built environments
- Collaborate closely with architects, urban planners, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and sustainable design solutions
- Review and provide feedback on landscape design proposals, ensuring they meet aesthetic, functional, and environmental criteria
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that landscape design activities are completed on schedule and within budget
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and sustainable landscape practices to incorporate into project designs
- Oversee the preparation of landscape construction documents, specifications, and management of landscape contractors
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards
- Mentor and guide junior landscape designers, fostering a creative and collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- A minimum of 9-12 years of experience in landscape design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful projects
- Proven experience leading landscape projects, particularly in large-scale developments
- Strong understanding of horticulture, sustainable practices, and environmental design principles
- Excellent graphic visualization skills, with proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey ideas effectively
- Strong project management abilities, including budget and timeline management
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and managing stakeholder relationships
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently
