The purpose of this role

Provide high quality care and assessments of patients requiring physiotherapy treatment.
Support and advise staff from within the clinic on the benefits of alternative physiotherapy treatment plans, compared to unnecessary invasive treatments.
Use physical methods to treat injury and disease.
Use knowledge and skills to improve patients' physical functioning and range of movement.
Formulate and deliver an individualized treatment programme based on evidence-based practice and treatment options, using clinical assessment, reasoning skills and knowledge of various treatment models.
Ensure appropriate referral of patients to other professionals and services using established protocols and pathways.
Diagnose injury and develop individualized treatment programs for patients.
Undertake clinical duties as required.
Assist in the development and education of treatment programs.
Make recommendations to the Practice Manager for changes within the area of physiotherapy to enhance services.
Provide emergency care to patients as necessary and attend annual resuscitation training.
Undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients, including those with diverse or complex healthcare needs.
Demonstrate clinical expertise for treatment management and recognize areas for improvement.

The Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge

Graduate Degree / Diploma in Physiotherapy recognized by Dubai Health Authority or Health Authority of Abu Dhabi or Ministry of Health UAE.
Appropriate experience and competence in all aspects of Physiotherapy.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff.
Certification in Basic and Advanced Life Support.
Fluency in English, speaking, reading and writing.
Arabic speaking skills will be an added advantage.
Excellent Computer Literacy skills are required.
Publications in peer-reviewed journals will be well regarded.

Female Health.
Knowledge of chronic disease management that encompasses respiratory, cardiac conditions and diabetes.
Implement and evaluate individual chronic disease care plans.
5+ years experience of Internal Medicine treatments at a specialist level, since gaining higher qualification.
