Bid Manager - IT SolutionsNew Sourcing International (NSI)Location: Dubai, UAEPosted On: 17/2/2014Job Description:My client, a Global SI, is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to be permanently based in Dubai. The Bid Manager is the single point of accountability and project manager responsible for all aspects of the pursuit process. This role develops and manages comprehensive pursuit plans and ensures the support team is staffed, engaged, and equipped to fulfill its respective tasks.Responsibilities:Responsible for the end-to-end project management of the opportunity including:Detailed plan with tasks, milestones, deliverables, and associated timelinesRegular team meetings complete with meeting minutes/action items to ensure effective communications of status/changesFormal progress/status reports published to both internal and external audiencesCoordinates business and technical resources, including engagement leads and supporting organizationsCommunicates and reinforces the sales strategy and client requirements to the pursuit teamEducates and coaches the team on the pursuit process and opportunity including interacting with third-party intermediariesInitiates and manages the pursuit-specific project plans, calendars, pursuit issues and risks, meetings, and reviewsEscalates all pursuit issues, risks, and conflicts that need to be mitigatedEngages my client's business partners as neededManages the pursuit budget, internal billing, and time trackingGathers client-facing executive and team biosWorks with the pursuit leader/CSE and sales support specialist to develop relationships with third-party intermediaries as requiredCoordinates Price-to-Win development with CSE/pursuit leader/deal analyst industry expertsWhen required, works with client to create and maintain the client-focused TCO throughout the life of the pursuitJob Requirements:Experience: AnyCareer Level: JuniorJob Type: Full TimeVacancies: 3 Open PositionsSalary: NegotiableGender: AnyDegree Level: Bachelor's degreeMajor: Information TechnologyEssential Requirements:University degreeKnowledge of:Global IT industryOutsourcing ServicesData Center ServicesERP Onshore / Offshore implementation servicesIndustry experience - Government, Commercial, Financial etcBroad technical appreciation of IT infrastructure architecture and services in ITO, Apps and BPO environmentsThree years or more Sales Support experience as Bid ManagerTeam playerPresentation skills at Management levelDeliver to your commitments / Results orientatedSkills include:Strong leadership and organizational managementCoaching and MentoringExtensive experience in supporting complex, high value pursuitsExperienced Project Management - Thinking / Planning and controlExperience of customer relationshipsDynamic personality to interact at all customer levelsHigh degree of numeracy and accuracyDecision making and problem solvingHigh degree of commercial awarenessPursuit GovernanceDue Diligence and Risk managementAbout The Company:New Sourcing International (NSI) is a leading international group specializing in talent acquisition services around the globe.
