Our client is a Dubai-based mental health clinic offering outpatient services to individuals and families. They address challenges such as depression, anxiety, chronic stress, and interpersonal conflicts. The clinic partners with various organizations to promote mental health through seminars and workshops, aiming to raise awareness and reduce stigma through psychoeducational talks and media contributions.What we offer:Tax-free, all-inclusive salary!Healthcare insurance or treatment included;Direct permanent employment with our client, for either 2 or 3 years;Working in an international team/working environment;30 calendar days leave for every full work year;End of service benefits as per KUAE Labor Law.Who you are:As a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will assess and diagnose patients while developing and adjusting comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with other medical professionals. You will also provide emotional support, document patient progress, and stay informed about new developments in psychiatry and mental health.Skills & Competencies:Training and experience in adult mental health, preferably in private practice or outpatient settings.Western qualification preferred; DHA licensed.Arabic language skills are a plus.Strong documentation, analytical, and decision-making skills.Excellent listening, verbal communication, and patient service abilities.Ability to build relationships with discretion and a positive bedside manner.Education & Qualifications:Doctor of Medicine.Completed psychiatric residency.Minimum of 12 years of post-qualification experience.Board of Psychiatry certification and state license.Strong verbal and written communication skills.High emotional intelligence and expert diagnostic abilities.Description:As a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, your main responsibilities will include:Helps patients by evaluating medical and psychosocial conditions.Develops and implements treatment plans, including the prescription of psychotropic medications.Monitors and evaluates treatment results.Evaluates patients by interviewing the patient, family, and others; conducting physical examinations; observing behaviors; reviewing medical history and related documents; selecting, administering, and interpreting psychological tests; and ordering laboratory tests and evaluating results.Develops treatment plans by determining the nature and extent of cognitive, emotional, developmental, social, and behavioral disorders and establishing treatment goals and methodologies.Treats patients by utilizing psychotherapeutic methods and medications; discussing progress toward goals with patients; providing instructions; monitoring the effects of medications; and supervising staff provision of services.Maintains interdisciplinary treatment by reviewing treatment plans and progress, consulting, and collaborating with primary care physicians, mental health therapists, nurses, and other healthcare providers.Assures quality and safety for patients and staff by enforcing policies, procedures, standards, Joint Commission for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations requirements, and legal regulations; participating in utilization reviews; and remaining available for emergency consultations.Improves staff competence by providing training and discussions regarding the interrelationship between psychosocial and physiological problems, psychotropic medications, crisis intervention, and related issues.Maintains historical records by documenting symptoms, medications, and treatment events, and writing summaries.Updates job knowledge by participating in continuing medical education opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.Enhances department and organizational reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
