- This full-time position is available in either Mangawhai or Dargaville with WFH options.
- Maintaining a strategic overview of water-related assets: ensuring effective planning to deliver level of service targets and comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Managing network models, developing catchment management plans and contributing to relevant policies and plans.
- Collaborating on development consent applications and support planning for Private Plan Changes.
- Overseeing asset condition assessments: analyse and collect asset data, prepare project documentation, and ensure accurate information transfer to the asset management system.
- A qualification in engineering, infrastructure asset management, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in planning, designing or managing water infrastructure.
- Expertise in asset management and long-term strategic planning.
- Strong relationship-building, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Experience collaborating with or working for local government entities.
