Technical SEO Specialist About the Role: We are looking for a Technical SEO Specialist to enhance our website’s performance, improve search engine rankings, and optimize our digital presence. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of search engine algorithms, and hands-on experience with website optimization, crawling, indexing, and structured data. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical SEO audits to identify and resolve site performance issues, broken links, crawl errors, and duplicate content.
- Optimize website structure, speed, and mobile-friendliness to improve user experience and search rankings.
- Implement structured data (schema mark-up) for better SERP visibility.
- Improve crawlability and indexability using robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and canonical tags.
- Monitor and resolve website errors, security issues, and Core Web Vitals performance.
- Work with developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in website coding and design.
- Perform log file analysis to understand how search engines crawl and index the website.
- Analyse and improve internal linking strategies for better discoverability.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and SEO industry trends.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure SEO-friendly content strategies.
- Utilize tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and GTmetrix for analysis and reporting.
- Proven experience in Technical SEO, Website Optimization, or a similar role .
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they impact SEO .
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Magento, etc.) and their SEO configurations.
- Knowledge of web hosting, CDN, and server response codes (301, 404, 500, etc.).
- Familiarity with log file analysis and SEO automation scripts (Python is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, PageSpeed Insights, and other SEO tools.
- Ability to analyze site architecture and recommend technical improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Experience with international SEO, hreflang implementation, and multi-language sites.
- Understanding of JavaScript SEO and rendering issues.
- Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or SEO-related courses.
