Team Leader Financial Planning & Analysis

Role Purpose Deliver financial insights to support the DS FP&A and Hotel Operations teams and Finance Buisness Partners in driving performance and value to IHG. Key Accountabilities

• Provide day to day business support activites to the respective UK DS team including supporting first round of bugeting and forecasting.and management reporting and analysis for System size and pipeline,Corporate and Holets.
• Take the lead on the DS month-end close activities including but not limited to the raising of the journal requests.
• Create and maintain dashooards and standard packs along with preliminary commentary
• Populate standard reportswith data and consolidation of sub-sets and commentary
• Flexible to provide ad-hoc reports and analysis to support decision making.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support the delivery of improvements in processes, systemsand procedures.
• Build and maintain strongrelatlonships with the COE and collaborate to deliver high quality outputs.
• Build and maintain strong relationship with BSC, being able to collaborate to relsove issues quickly and effectively
• Ensure documentation of reievant processes is crated and maintained
• Take ownership and accountabilty of management reporiting through maintainance of data logs
• Support audit queries.

• Commercial Finance or business-related educatlon.Preferably working towards professional finance qualificatlon (ACA. ACCA. CIMA or equivalent).
• Preferably. experience as a finance analys including experience with operational planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.management reporting. scenario analysis and modelling skills.with preference for leisure and hospitality or similar single unit. muitl-revenue stream operations.
• AdVanced user or oracle,Essbase,reporting toots,excel.Powerpoint
• Ability to prioritise and operate effectively in a fast moving,global environment with tight deadlines. excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
