Job Summary: Manager - Business Development steers the operations of the Business Development Department. Is responsible for driving sustainable financial growth of the organization through materialization of new business opportunities and forging strong relationships with prospective and existing clients. Job Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

  • Understand the strategic objectives of Organization to prepare the business development plan aligned with the business strategy aimed at business & revenue growth. Submits it to GM-Contracting BU for final review and approval.
  • Presents the business plan along with ROI analysis, risk analysis, budget, forecast sales revenues, potential benefits to Organization.
  • Leads research into new and established markets to develop service strategy that meets market demands which are consistent with the company strategy.
  • Sets goals for the team and develops strategies to meet those goals.

Business Development

  • Monitors, reviews, and approves the business development proposals, quotes, and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Monitors and provides guidance to the team in managing the entire Business Development life cycle from lead generation and lead management, prospecting accounts, negotiating client pricing and moving them through sales cycle for target markets within KSA and leads international business leads.
  • Presents powerful, persuasive presentations to clients that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of organization’s footprint by generating better sales.
  • Identifies and explores avenues for partnership with potential companies/suppliers for new business development. Plans and implements new target market initiatives.
  • Possesses strong knowledge of market trends including client and competitor activity and industry innovation.
  • Caters to the other subsidiaries as per agreed guidelines and policies.

Building Relationships

  • Attends industry events and conferences to gain information on market trends and competitors, develop a network of contacts, maintain a substantial pipeline and build effective relationships in the marketplace to generate opportunities for new business.
  • Collaborates with the legal team to prepare the business development agreements with favorable terms that protect the interests of Organization.
  • Maintains effective relationships with partners and ensures profitable business continuity.

Research & Recommendation

  • Builds an effective research project management process to track progress and effectiveness of market research. Oversees, scrutinizes, and provides suggestions for primary and secondary research including competitive analysis, etc.
  • Provides compelling recommendations on the basis of research to management for maximizing profits.

Team Management

  • Manages all the team members directly.
  • Sets clear directions for the team on their work responsibilities and motivates the team to achieve objectives.
