About the Role On behalf of our client in the Pharmacy industry , Astek Canada is seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Specialist ready to take on new challenges. Your Responsibilities As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Experience in all types of testing including functional white box, black box and non-functional testing.
• Experience with SQL queries and databases (Sybase, MS SQL Server).
• Experience working in fast paced Agile (Scrum / Kanban) environment.
• Experience with Atlassian Software Confluence and Jira.
• Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and high-quality completion of assigned tasks.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a high energy, fast-paced environment.

• 5+ years’ experience in pharmacy dispensing system .
• 3 Years experience in Nexxsys or Propel
• 5+ years’ experience in a Quality Assurance role.
• A degree in Pharmacy or related field.

• Experience testing with a variety of environments and technologies (.NET, Java, Client/Server, Web Services).
• Experience with mobile apps (nice-to-have).
• Understanding of system operations, VPNs, etc
