Via Medica International Healthcare LLC is looking for a Primary EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) to work for one of our projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Requirements:
- DOH Passer/DOH License - Primary EMT
- Work Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
- Salary is based on experience and interview clinical assessment

- Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to emergency calls as dispatched.
- Arrive at the scene of emergencies quickly and safely.
- Conduct scene size-up to determine the nature and extent of illness or injury.
- Patient Assessment and Care:
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients to determine medical conditions.
- Administer basic life support (BLS) procedures including CPR, AED usage, airway management, and bleeding control.
- Provide appropriate pre-hospital emergency medical care following DOH protocols.
- Transportation:
- Safely transport patients to healthcare facilities.
- Communicate with medical staff during transport to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during transport.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Complete accurate and detailed patient care reports (PCRs) and other required documentation.
- Report observations and treatments provided to receiving medical staff.
- Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance:
- Ensure that the ambulance and equipment are clean, stocked, and in good working order.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
- Professional Development:
- Participate in continuing education and training to maintain DOH certification and stay updated on medical practices.
- Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions as required by the employer.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and protocols, including DOH standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow Health guidelines.
