Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company Job Title: Financial Controller Nationality: Any Nationality Vacancy: 1 Vacancy Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop, manage and religiously track budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic planning.
  • Prepare presentations for CFO and leadership team and the Board on month-end financials, budgets and financial plans.
  • Prepare analysis based on monthly income statement, balance sheets, and other financial statements.
  • Review month-end closing done by accounting to ensure accruals and estimates are done properly.
  • Review daily non-operational KPIs (commercial, operational etc.) to provide insight and support strategic planning to CFO and leadership team.
  • Track OPEX and CAPEX budget line by line and ensure spending is in line with the budget.
  • Manage the accounting policy, ensuring that it is up-to-date and latest changes in IFRS and Group policies are implemented.
  • Coordinate with Group Controlling team for month-end Group Controlling reporting requests.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports requested by Central Bank of the UAE.
  • Participate in annual and interim audits.
  • Contribute to and define financial control processes and procedures.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies: Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in Controlling functions in financial and fintech institutions.
Skills:
  • Strong accounting knowledge, with proven experience with IFRS.
  • Expertise in analyzing financial statements and non-financial KPIs.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with key stakeholders.
  • A structural and logical approach to solving problems.
  • Strong analytical skills and a hands-on attitude.
  • Experience within a fast-growing organization.
  • Ability to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
  • Awareness of market trends and their potential impact on business finances.
  • Expertise in implementing and monitoring financial controls and policies.
  • Highly motivated and focused on delivery.
