Reports to Senior Managing Director RME Geographic Scope - Region Middle East (Gulf, India and Africa) Overall Job Purpose: Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that enhances HL brand in the Region Middle East, engages key stakeholders, and supports the organizational goals. Responsible for overseeing all internal and external communications, media relations, customer events, public relations, and digital communication efforts. Upscale customer experience through an enhanced customer communication strategy that adds value to our customers. Key Accountabilities:

  1. Strategy Development: Create and execute a strategic communications plan that aligns with the organization's mission and objectives.
  2. Content Creation: Oversee the development of compelling content for various platforms, including press releases, articles, social media, and marketing materials.
  3. Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, ensuring positive coverage and managing press releases.
  4. Internal Communications: Enhance employee engagement through effective internal communication strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  5. Brand Management: Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels and materials.
  6. Customer Communication: Develop and implement a regional customer communication matrix in alignment with global customer communications.
  7. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with leadership and other departments to communicate key messages to stakeholders, including investors, partners, and the community.
  8. Customer Event Management: Plan and execute events designed to engage and connect with customers.
  9. Work closely with global marketing and communication team in the Headquarters.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  2. 10+ years of experience in communications, knowledge of container shipping preferred.
  3. Proven track record in developing creative content and executing successful communication strategies.
  4. Knowledge and understanding of communications practices, tools, and techniques in social media.
  5. Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  6. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  7. Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
  8. Strong organizational and project management skills.
