Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Emirati HR Assistant Manager to join our team. This role will support the HR department in a variety of functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, payroll administration, and HR operations. The HR Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth HR processes, fostering a positive work environment, and contributing to the development of effective HR strategies that align with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
- Assist in managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the selection process.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure the recruitment strategy aligns with organizational goals.
- Support the development of employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies to attract top talent.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Act as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations issues.
- Assist in fostering a positive work culture by implementing employee engagement initiatives.
- Support conflict resolution efforts and ensure a fair, transparent process for addressing employee concerns.
- Performance Management:
- Assist in implementing performance management programs, including setting goals, monitoring progress, and supporting employee development.
- Conduct periodic reviews and feedback sessions in collaboration with managers to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration:
- Support the payroll process by ensuring accurate data entry and the timely processing of salaries, bonuses, and other compensation.
- Coordinate employee benefits programs and assist with inquiries regarding health insurance, leave entitlements, and retirement plans.
- Compliance & HR Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations, and ensure that HR practices align with legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and files in both electronic and physical formats.
- Support audits and ensure all HR-related documentation is up to date.
- HR Reporting & Analytics:
- Prepare HR-related reports, including employee turnover, headcount, and performance data.
- Monitor HR metrics to identify trends and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Training & Development:
- Support the planning and coordination of training programs to enhance employee skills and organizational capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for staff development and assist in the delivery of training sessions or workshops.
- Employee Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork and initial training are completed.
- Assist with offboarding processes, including exit interviews and ensuring smooth transitions for departing employees.
- HR Administration & Support:
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including organizing meetings, scheduling interviews, and managing HR systems.
- Assist in handling internal HR communications and employee inquiries.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in HR, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Nationality: Emirati (UAE National).
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE labor laws, HR practices, and cultural nuances in the workplace.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
