Millwright ($43-45/hour)

Our client, one of Canada's top employers and leaders in the retail industry- has an immediate opening for a Licenced Millwright -to join their Operations team. Reporting to the Industrial Engineering Department, this role is responsible for installation, preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment or components that support production and facility operations. The incumbent will also be responsible for managing the preventative maintenance plan and related upkeep. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment components using knowledge of standardized methods to keep manufacturing running efficiently.
• Maintain production equipment and machinery including motors, pumps, and air compressor systems.
• Move machinery, racking, and assist with Industrial Engineering activities as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance duties in accordance with the Total Preventative Maintenance schedule, including managing contractor service or repairs as needed.

• Valid 433A License Required
• Knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic equipment, relevant fabrication. Aptitude with machine and hand tools such as grinders, band saws, etc.
• Knowledge and capable of using a forklift.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
