We are hiring for a swiss company, job role as Sales Manager based in Delhi/ North-India. Our Indian subsidiary is operating in India for over 15+ years, has over 1000+ clients/ installed based in India. As a Sales Manager, you will gain support from the wider companies sales & service team, allowing you to focus on increasing sales in Indian region & additionally you shall grow sales in North India as Sales Territory. You will be operating from Swiss company subsidary at Delhi, working with the wider sales & service team to deliver new business strategy throughout India. Reporting to the Head of Sales (India) & top management as required, you will be responsible for operating in a 60% new business and 30% OEM management in addition to value selling ie. Sell Services as a part of additional revenue stream. Selling measurement equipment to end users and OEM’s within the Steel, Plastic, wire & cable production markets & special applications/ new segments. About You: You must have a minimum of 5+ years of sales experience selling complex instrumentation, mechanical components or capital equipment to end users in the production processing industry (steel, plastic & cable segments). Experience leading an organization generating > $1Mn in revenue Understanding of selling complex capital machines sales /solutions (Extruder machines) A sales-orientated leader, with experience delivering consistent xx% yearly growth, regional strategy and increase profitability would be essential Demonstrating a commitment to excellence and performing to the highest standards and promoting an environment that supports and reflects the Companies global brand We look forward to receiving your application. Other requirements include • A technical engineering interest • A broad network of top management contacts within the steel or cable or plastic Industry is necessary • A record of accomplishment of substantial successful sales • Strong team worker • Articulate and logical thinker • Excellent communication skills • Self-motivated • Willingness to travel (~80%) covering your region ie. North India Swiss company India division distributes a wide range of online continuous measurements and Controls that are essential to Manufacturing and enable our customers to achieve their quality goals. An integral part of the role is to enable our wider Swiss group to deliver sales revenue and achieve business financial goals for Swiss company's India/ service growth strategy. What Will Convince Us Proven experience as Sales Managers/ Sales engineers in a similar field with 5+ years of exp. Bachelors in Engineering, Electrical / Electronics/ EEE/ E&I/ ECE, I&C preferable We are seeking candidates from wire & cable, Piping & Steel industry domain, who can understand the production process and machineries involved/ OEMs. Manage effective negotiations and finalization/ closing of deals in a timely and effective manner Strong communication and presentation skills. High customer orientation. Proven change management and leadership skills. Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and delegate effectively. Fluent in English, Hindi & other regional languages. In order to commence working with us, the successful candidate will need to be based on Central (Pune office).
