Job title : Audit and Risk Committee Chairperson Job Location : Gauteng, Johannesburg Deadline : February 20, 2025 Quick Recommended Links Required qualifications and experience: - NQF level 8 qualification in Finance, Risk Management, and Auditing related disciplines.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as an Audit Committee member or five (5) years’ experience as an Executive.
- Membership of a relevant professional body (i.e., SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA, IRMSA, IIA etc.)
- Knowledge of transport/railway industry will be considered as an added advantage.
Areas of Expertise - Strong reporting and financial management skills (GRAP & IFRIS).
- Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulations.
- Internal and external audit functions in the public sector.
- Management principles and ethics.
- Corporate governance principles.
- Auditing, governance, IT and risk assessment process control; and
- Proven leadership capabilities.
