Your Job We are seeking a shop Drafter to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role, reporting to Plant Manager and working within the global engineering team, involves creating detailed shop packages to support the fabrication of mass transfer and combustion equipment. You will collaborate with various functional teams (engineering, commercial, operations) to produce mechanical drawings and documentation vital for multiple business operations. Accuracy and adherence to quality and delivery standards are paramount in this position. Our Team You will be part of the production team within KES Manufacturing, a dedicated group focused on enhancing production efficiency. Our team values collaboration, precision, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to ensure we meet our operational goals and exceed customer expectations. What You Will Do

1. Create detailed drawings and BOMs from 3D CAD models or general arrangement drawings.
2. Develop shop packages for production, including detailed drawings, Bill of Materials, and nesting plans.
3. Prepare BOMs in Excel or input them into the ERP system.
4. Address technical clarifications and workshop comments, liaising with relevant parties (Engineering, KES Workshop, Vendor Workshop, QC) to resolve issues.
5. Participate in reviews of fabrication packages.
6. Provide drafting support to the local Sales or Execution team.
7. Adhere to company procedures and standards.
8. Perform other duties as required in operations.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

1. Strong commitment to safety and proven safe work practices.
2. Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
3. Exposure in developing shop packages for production (detailed drawings, BOMs, nesting plans) for pressure vessels, steel stacks, and/or piping systems/skids.
4. Familiarity with fabrication techniques, such as cutting, forming, machining, and welding.
5. Solid understanding of international standards for steel materials.
6. Exposure with industry standards in oil & gas and/or chemicals/petrochemicals.
7. The ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with high quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
8. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Highly organized and capable of working independently.

What Will Put You Ahead

1. Proficiency with the Autodesk suite (AutoCAD, Inventor, Plant 3D).
2. Exposure with ERP systems.
3. Exposure with PLM systems.
4. Mass Transfer systems exposure.
